Introduced in the late 1970s, the Honda CX series motorcycles including the GL500 and GL650 variants was powered by 500-673 cc water-cooled longitudinal OHV80 degree V-twin, 4 valves per cylinder, and produced 50-77 HP. It is a motorcycle that is sturdy and often called the bulletproof. It comes with two types of ignition, the CDI (capacitive discharge ignition), and the transistorized ignition.
